The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, washroom, spacious lounge and dining area with a built-in braai, as well as a large lawn and a generous stoep wrapping around two sides of the house. With plenty of indoor and outdoor living space, this is a place to slow down, enjoy long lunches, share a traditional South African braai and take in the peaceful farm surroundings. Step outside and you’ll find expansive lawns, beautiful gardens and the vineyards stretching towards the mountains. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, stroll through the vineyards, enjoy a picnic beside the farm dam, swim in the dam or relax with sundowners on the dam wall while taking in sweeping views towards Cape Town.

The property is home to Toevlug, a South African restaurant at Annandale Wines, offering produce-focused dining in a beautiful historic wine-farm setting. The restaurant is run by acclaimed chef Drikus Brink in partnership with Bertus Basson. For fresh ingredients and local treats, visit Familiér, the on-site farm shop and deli, where you can stock up on fresh produce, freshly baked breads, meats, snacks and other farm-fresh favourites.
